THERE'S NO PLACE QUITE LIKE THIS

What better place to shoot a summer fashion editorial then right here in our lovely hometown of Miami? I bring to you Free People's latest summer lookbook shot right in our very own South Beach. The styling features summer essentials including loose knits, flowy tunic dresses, bright swimwear and a good-looking boy as arm candy. Just looking at these shots makes me realize there's no place quite like Miami :)

GET COOL BEFORE YOU DIE

I was browsing through WhoWhatWear the other day and came across a guest editor post with Emma Roberts. The first thing that caught my eye was a pair of black and white retro sunnies on the top right corner. One click lead to another and I ended up on a sunglass shop called Sabre. The California based company gears it's designs towards street culture, art and full-time cool kids. 

The designs are loosely inspired from retro styles, music movements and countercultures from previous decades. With an innovative take on sunglasses, the company has created both affordable and unique eyewear to cater to both men and women in unisex styles. Here are 6 of my favorite models:

ALDO VS DESIGNER

Let's get real not everyone can afford to splurge on designer shoes every season especially a college student like me. I'm sure many of you are on my same boat and lucky for us, retail shoe stores like Aldo can help us stay right on trend without breaking the bank.

As we already know, neon is huge this season and the color trend has been spotted on clothing, accessories and shoes everywhere. Last week I walked into my local Aldo and couldn't help but admire the almost perfect replicas of neon sole Jil Sander oxfords and Christian Louboutin neon yellow pumps.
