Golden Globes 2011

The 2011 Golden Globes were a success; Natalie Portman went home a winner and Ricky Gervais' jokes were actually quite funny. But let's reminisce on the fab gowns; my personal fav of the night was Anne Hathaway's Giorgio Armani masterpiece. Here are some of my other favs: January Jones in Versace, Olivia Wilde in Marchesa, Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace, Heidi Klum in Marc Jacobs and Emma Stone in Calvin Klein.

TREND: Red

The color red has been extremely popular lately on celebrities, fashionistas, bloggers and runways. Red is a hard color to pull off and it doesn't always flatter everyone but with simple touches you'll be able to look great. Here are some tips:

• If you don't think red is your color, then bring the color in with a simple accessory like Nicole Richie's quilted tote, or with a bright red lip.
• A red skirt or red trousers are an easy way to wear the color and look stylish.
• The color looks best with neutrals. Pair with black, grey, charcoal or taupe.

I came across these pictures of Ed Westwick over at Little Plastic Horses and I had to share. Ed Westwick is probably the best dressed character on TV and he's just as dapper off screen as well. God I love him. Can't wait for the new episode of Gossip Girl on Monday the 24th!

Kate Bosworth is probably one of the simplest yet chicest celebrities out there. Her street style is based around comfort while still looking stylish; hence why you usually spot her in skinny jeans and a top. Her nighttime looks are girly but still sexy. I would say Kate's style is similar to Sienna Miller's; both great style muses to incorporate into your wardrobe.
