& ON THE 4TH DAY, IT POURS

On this rainy Sunday afternoon and after four days of Mercedez Benz Fashion Week craze, I finally have a small break.

Living in Miami, there is always a pre-party to the actual party. Even though fashion week "officially" started on Thursday July 19th, there were pre-fashion week events to attend the night before. The first event that I attended was the Cosmopolitan en Espanol Summer Splash. Over 500 invited guests and fashion industry know it alls swarmed the pool at the Miami Beach Soho House.

You can never miss an oversied front cover of the next issue of Cosmo en Espanol.

The catwalk over the Soho House pool was the center of attention. Guests gather on poolside sofas and lounge chairs waiting for the show to start.

As the models start prancing down the runway, some of my favorite bathingsuit designers such as; Luli Fama and Zingara show off their top favs.

The finale was full of hot models and balloons.

SWIM WEEK DAY #1:

Thanks to a friend, I scored a front row seat at the first show of the anticipated Mercedez Fashion Week. What an experience, it being my first official MBFW runway show.

At the Lisa Blue Swim show models walked slowly down the runway with grecian inspired suits.

White, gold, and light blue were the main colors, along with gold accesories.

Dancing with the Stars dancer, stole the show when the music was turned up and had people dancing in their seats to Spanish beats.
The next part of the show was inspired by "the working woman".

1950's hair, makeup, and swimwsuits were the center of attention.

I die for those gold-glitter pumps.

To me, the end of a fashion show is always jaw dropping. Seeing the models with the final looks parade down the catwalk all at once is an unexplainable experience.

How could I forget?! Lisa Blue, the designer, at the finale of her show showing off an amazing bod and wearing one of her own creations. She's done it once again!

XOXO,
Naty
